Did a fast job on it and just wanted to get it over and done. I need a break from painting.

The moment you find yourself mostly satisfied with a painting and think you'll "just quickly" do this or that, that's the moment to stop completely. Take the painting off your easel and put it aside for at least 24 hours, then reassess whether it really needs that tweak.

Thanks Val. I used off camera flash bounced and i know my stuff when it comes to photography lighting, but my paintings never get captured well at all! Besides changing it a bit, hopefully this is bit better photo of it (re-photographed the girl one too)

Both of these are showing much better Pat.  O0 The Woman with Jackfruit, the colours are much brighter looking, shows off the depth better. The girl behind the screen looks more like a photograph. Excellent work on both.

Ok, thanks Val...of course after THIS post, i once again fussed and nit picked at it for two hours. The more you over analyze, the more self doubt you have. I feel very compelled this morning to get it out again, but i refuse. Thanks Teresa :thankyou: :thankyou:
