I did this over the weekend... This is on a 16"x16" canvas. I tried something a little different for the background I hope they like the splattered paint background?!?

Wow, the dog looks so realistic. I like the new splattered background. Makes the painting dynamic as if the dog is just about to jump and greet its master.
Life is more exciting with art....

I think the painting has much more life than the photo, and your background and the halo effect really enhance the black of the dog.

I delivered this today and they seemed to love it!  I met Mica and she was very excited too. LOL
She's a german shephard standard poodle mix... such a sweet dog.
