:thankyou:  Maria for your lovely comments.  So you too, are a golfer.  My husband lives, eats and drinks golf and is now so miserable as all the golf courses in Canada are closed for the Winter. He is currently watching golf on TV with Tiger Woods playing in some tournament.  I have a running commentary going!! I hear "Oh! he missed it" and "He chunked it" etc. etc. and this goes on all the time!  :2funny: :2funny:

Two more great submissions! This is getting to be a real 'tuffy'!  :-\

My dad used to take me golfing for a rather 'brief' spell. Seems I had a nasty hook so I used to tee off facing 45 degrees from the direction I wanted to go! Otherwise I used to really T off the farmer next door by hitting his cows in the field next door!
Cheers, Val

Thank you Mea, this is for a change acrylic on paper and not watercolour.
Thank you Maria, your comments are always so well formed and great to read.
Thank you Pat, your paintings are so well done with the mediums you master! I don't think it's a matter of age but I think some artists just explore. I simply love to work with various mediums. Eventhough, I do avoid pastels since they are so powdery and so delicate to store. I admire your pastel work so much!
Life is more exciting with art....

:thankyou:  Val for your lovely comment and for the hilarious story about your Dad taking you to try your hand at golf. I have such a vivid imagination at times and I could see you swinging the ball which hit the neighbouring cows in the B-hind which had me laughing. You were lucky that you could even connect with the ball. My husband took me to the golfing range and put the ball down in front of me and said "now hit it". Well, I swung and swung and the ball remained in front of me. He then picked up the ball and said "come on, let's go home, you will never make a golfer" and that was the first and last time I ever held a club in my hand!!!

:thankyou:  so much Gita for your very complimentary message.  I really appreciate it and I love art so much but for whatever reason, I tend to stick to what I am comfortable with. I personally feel that my best work is in pastels, although I love watercolour too. I am just getting into acrylics and find them quite challenging but I am persevering.
