I have challenged myself with this painting of cut glass.  I think the roses are okay but would like to know if you see anything that needs improvement.  Also, so far on the cut glass, is there anything I need to do more than what is there? Thanks I appreciate the input.

Bravo for attempting the cut glass.  Looks really good.  Flowers look great, too.

Should the background be seen further down through the glass?  The blue seems to abruptly end half way down.

Good job, my friend.

OK, Mary Lou, I understand now.  Read the post too quickly and thought you had finished.  DUH!

Mary Lou:  I think this is looking good.  I would add some dark blue reflections in the bottom of the vase and some tints of pink and green also.  You need some value changes in some of the left side cuts they need to be deeper.  Good job.

Looking good so far, MaryLou!  I always like paintings of cut glass but haven't tried any on my own.  I look forward to seeing it finished.

Great composition and well done on your cut glass - that's hard to do! Just some of those blue and pink reflections will finish that off. The only other thing that seems a little unfinished is the leaf on the top left...I think it needs a little more darkening. Otherwise, this is wonderful!

THanks Sharon, LOL, no problem.  Well, here it is, I am pretty much done.  I may have done too much?  This was challenging and fun...I got lost a lot and looking at it closely while painting it looked a big mess.....But it turned out ok I guess...
