I had problems with my stylus catching on the gold foil, not sure if my stylus is getting blunt or whether the board was faulty. Difficult to stop tearing.

Wow! Great detailing in this.  O0   I only tried the foil paper a couple of times, I kept catching the foil. Too heavy handed I guess. I do still have a few of the papers and a couple of nice boards left though.....  :think:   One day!

Have you had a look at Zilpa's gallery? She uses pyrography to lay out her paintings before applying the encaustics. Really brilliant.  O0
