Hello friends,

Wow it feels like forever since we last chatted... Anyway i hope you are well! So my partner and I have been playing with epoxy resins and taken on a little project for ourselves that will perhaps turn into a bit of spare income. I designed a contemporary type metal frame that will be used as a base for coffee tables (the plan is to make 4). The tops of the coffee tables will have two levels of epoxy art done on mdf boards, which will then be attached to the table. Heres the first lot of boards that I think look pretty darn swanky! I mean who would'nt want clouds and oceans in the middle of their lounge right???  ;D Lol well to be honest we were going for an art deco type finish but didnt mix enough so ended up with this result by edging the epoxy around to cover both pieces of board. Luckily blue and white is always a good combo and there was just enough to cover the boards...

Will definitely post more as they are done and of course the final complete tables.

Your thoughts??
Have a good weekend!

Great idea.  They look really special.  Love the flowing color.

Anxious to see how they look as tables.

Interesting concept Trev. They would have sold like hotcakes in the 60's and 70's!!!  :heeha:    I think they are cool, wish I had a room to put one in!
Best of luck with them.... would you consider doing custom tables?
Cheers, Val

Thanks Mea, I should be able to post the completed tables this week. Yes Val I'm definitely going to offer customized tables. Will also offer conference, dining and boardroom tables. It's great stuff to upcycle old tables and furniture as well. Thanks Bea and Dennis!
