ok this is my 1st attempt at oil .The water mixable oil looks like something I can get used to.
So I bought a very limit variety off colors since not many was available where I went .Tried to open the oil bottle from winsor and newton  :2funny: :2funny: :2funny: Impossible .
Dennis and Nolan has done such a fine yob with classes thru the years I feel like am cheating to getting to sign up for a class .So much information to look at so little time .
I was going with a texas scene .. Please let me know what I can work on .Still need to add more flowers on the right .

Bert, you are such a good artist and you have done a wonderful job yet again with the water mixable oils.  I so enjoy viewing your work.

Bert - you're obviously a natural at oils - well done! And I love water soluble oil paints. I'm so glad Nolan introduced those to us in his course - I couldn't handle the odor of the regular oils.
Cheers,
Sharon

thanks everyone for your kind words .
I made a few adjustments and feel a little bit more relax with the oils . I just never had time to really look into oils before .
I learned Acrylics from Dennis  and sketch in school a bit .
Thanks to the wonderful world of www. I found Dennis again and this wonderful group ...
Going to try everything ...

Bert:  This is really good.  I like the flowers in the field.  The prospective between the horses adds distance.

Bert,

This is so good!!  Interesting shades of blues and greens.

Lots of character in this painting.

I'd like to try water-soluable oils, but I have so much money wrapped up in my present oils.   Still, they look tempting.

Love seeing your paintings Bert. If I was a collector, I'd stalk you to make sure I had first dibs on the latest painting.  (I'm not, due to limited funds, so you are safe.) ;D
