 Teresa, finely rendered work, Ichabod Crane hiding behind the tree maybe?

This is my scary/spooky submission for the Oktober Challenge. Done with water colour with lines with pen and ink. Got some inspirations while going through some scary photos. I sure would not want to meet such a nun in real! 😱🎃
I put away the monster man. He was a bit too repulsive.

Oh, spooky, Gita.  Love the grey tones.

Will try to make time to get one done before the end of the month.

 Yikes.... that is too reminiscent of one of the nuns who taught at the Catholic school. Especially the boys didn't like her because she would check their fingernails and give them a rap on the knuckles if they weren't clean enough.  :run: My girlfriend Darlene used to have us howling with laughter with stories about her adventures growing up in a convent.

Well done Gita, thanks for bringing those memories back... and people thought I was nuts growing up!  :2funny:

Cheers, Val

Wow Gita she's creepy. I too have memories of nuns at primary school. In grade 6 we had a nun named Sister Kevin we called her Pinocchio cause we said her nose grew as she tried to stick her nose into everyone's business

Gita, this is spooky!  But I was laughing at Val and Teresa's comments.  I am sure this will remind lots of folks about a nun they once knew!   :2funny:

:2funny:👻☠️👽 😬 Theresa and Val. This nun can be really get angry and punish even if there’s a tiniest reason to do so without blinking an eyelash.

Thank you Mea and Patricia1 I am curious to see yours! This is fun!😃
Did I tell you that this forum is such a lovely place for mental exchange!  Yesterday I was in a course for realistical painting in Berlin in an art school. I introduced Paint Basket to “Nancy”. Nancy is new to art. So hope Nancy decides to join us and learn from Dennis and Nolan.
BTW, I am thinking seriously of studying art in this art school (part time). Will reflect upon this till December and then enroll myself.

Gita, how exciting that you are thinking of joining the art school.  If you can, go for it.  I would love to do something like that too.
I am still working on my submission.  I do a little on it every so often and then put it away where I can't see it for it freaks me out and I can't stand to look at it.

:2funny: :2funny: Patricia, I did mine  non-stop so that I was not hindered this time! My goodness, your´s seems to be really freaky! I´m completely curious now! :)

Yes, the art school exites me a lot since I shall have live interaction with experienced artists and also with fellow artists. This art school also provides support for exhibiting one´s paintings. The principal of the school saw my paintings on my website and she willing to take me as a student, something which is nothing to be taken as granted! Normally, a portfolio has to be presented for decision making. So, I was glad to have most of my paintings in my website to show spontaneously  for this purpose - this was somewhat like a digital portfolio :coolsmiley:. Thanks to Dennis and Nolan´s classes.
I am waiting till December to make a decision since I have to organise a lot regarding my time valencies.
