I cannot guarantee that the problem is solved at the moment, but we need to use the gallery as normal so I can see if we have won or not, so for now continue to use the gallery as normal.

Hi Nolan, Thank you for all your hard work in getting the site up and running. I have just been to the Monthly Challenges and I noticed that in the "Mixed Media" Section, Bert's photograph still appears as the empty white square.  Perhaps it will come right with time.  Just thought that I would let you know.

unfortunately the last 160 odd photos are gone and are not recoverable. The only way is to re-upload any of your missing pics and to edit the post that had it in to replace the smg code to the new one

I checked my gallery and there are no photos at all, just empty spaces.  :(   I have a few photos on my tablet with me. I shall try and upload a few.
Cheers, Val

Nolan, was just checking through the forum and see there are a few incorrect photos in postings. I copied this page of Mea's. If you scroll down, the photo should be of Mea's Basilica  painting, instead it is Win's challenge painting.

Found another one. Instead of Trev's painting there is Abbietaya's drawing!

I was checking my gallery yesterday to see that everything looked correct and saw a painting that was not familiar.  Immediately, I suspected it had gotten there during the GLITCH.  On closer inspection, it had my distinctive LONG signature.   DUH!  I don't remember painting it!!!! :2funny:

Val,
Scary part is that two I replaced yesterday where gone again today: final version of St. Peter Basilica dome and Church in the English Countryside.

Just reentered them.

Also put back my photo from the exhibit last week.

Is anyone having trouble uploading August Painting Challenge?  I keep getting an error message saying :

I have uninstalled the new gallery software and re-installed the old version.

Hopefully this will bring us back to our stable gallery again. It will however not look as well on mobile devices for a while - I will have to modify it myself over time so that it looks good on mobile devices.

I will continue to backup the gallery every few hours until we can see the problem has gone away
