Back to watercolors this weekend with a painting based on a PMP photo by Viacheslav. Again, a bit more abstract than my usual style. Trying new things these days! What do you think?

I like this, Sharon.  Colors work well together.

My only thought would be to extend the shaded portion in side the cups past the center as it creates almost an angle instead of an arc along the brim.

Just a minor thing but my eye caught it right away.

Sharon, I like this alot.   My suggestion would be to take the slight point off the bottom of the apple to make it appear more rounded.   You have a vertical hard edge on the yellow cup that I think would look better if you softened it, and removed the very very slight point on the bottom left of the yellow cup to keep it more rounded.

Even without these tweaks this is a great painting! :smitten:

I like this Sharon, the technique looks like an oil painting to me.
