I am sketching my Grandson at various stages of him as he develops through his first year in an A5 sketchbook.

This is the first of him a few hours old  :)

Do you think I should  "go more dark" ?

Does anyone know if you  can successfully use fixative on Graphite ?

Thanks  :)

Win

Not sure what to advise as this is already better than I can do, Win.

What a beautiful baby Win!  Yes! You can use workable fixative on graphite.  I use Krylon Matte workable fixative on all my drawings.

   Great Idea. No problem spraying with fixative. Just don't over-spray.
