This is my submission for the August challenge. Started with pen and ink, continued with soft pastels, then took some colour pencils and finally added water colours.

Mary-Lou yours is very good. Bert, I can't judge again how yours looks like... At present I see Emma Lees pretty dog painting. 😮.
Would love to hear your comments and good luck every one!

Nice work, Bert.  Love the subtle sky.

 Patricia, your painting does reflect the extensive effort you put into it, you picked up a myriad details from the original photo, quite a strenuous exercise in patience and committment.  By the way, I can almost see the leftover kitchen sink through the window.

:thankyou: :thankyou: :thankyou:  Bert, Val and Maria.

Maria, you had me screaming with laughter about the kitchen sink. Well, it felt as though I had used everything at my disposal and yes, thinking about it, even the kitchen sink was used to clean the receptacles after painting  :2funny: :2funny: so I wasn't far off the mark. It is lovely to have a laugh first thing in the morning ... sets the tone for the day.
