I so love these lilies but they are a pest and are banned from sale here.
I took a photo at my friend's property of these....even had a little lady bird on one. :D
It is 76.5 x 76.5cm

This is beautiful Tezza and looks gorgeous on that wall.  O0

The arums are a favourite of mine as well. They are planted all over Guatemala City and make beautiful gardens. I sometimes see some growing wild here on the river, but not as prolific as up in the city.
Cheers, Val

:thankyou: Val. I love them. But unfortunately they are choking all our flora; especially near the rivers.
Where we used to live, I would go and pick them every year at this time.
You used to able to buy them by the thousands at the markets...but not any more.
They are a picture though....

Hard to think of something so beautiful as a pest.

Lovely painting, Terri.

Thank you BeaSue and Mea.
It was a bit of a challenge to paint, but one thing I have learnt through being a part of this wonderful group, is persistence and patience.

Terri - your arums are gorgeous - I feel like I can reach out and pick one! What a shame about the banning. When these bloom in Sacramento, I know it's the beginning of Spring.
Cheers,
Sharon
