:thankyou: Val and Dennis. At times it all gets a bit overwhelming, but yes I will push on. I am excitedly waiting for my new business cards expected to arrive  on Wednesday.
I am also in the middle of redoing my website. I find that these days I get up at around 4am. Start off by doing my diashes from the day before then on the pc till around 7 am. Then exercise, shower and breakfast. Back on the pc and phone till 10am. I open at 10.30am till 4pm and while in the gallery, I am either working on my big pieces or creating cards while doing demonstrations for visitors. When I close I walk the dog!have tea and am in bed between 7 and 9pm. Monday and Tuesday i am closed so that is when I go in the workshop and make new frames and also paint the outside edge of my works. All in all I am loving my new life. I never would have thought in my wildest dreams that I would start my career at 60.

Zilpa

So happy that your new career is blossoming.  How exciting - although not too crazy about the "washing the dishes" part!

This is another instance where the our distance apart prevents me from dropping by your gallery to lend a hand once in a while or just chat over a cup of tea.

Those are full days! Just mind you don't over do, work at a comfortable pace, and do remember to take some time for yourself to relax.  :1hug:

:thankyou:Mea and Val, I know it sounds hecktic but it will ease off once I have everything in place ( website, email marketing, record keeping) these are things I need to catch up on. I M totally self funded and really lucky to have the hall on a barter system. I don’t know how long it will last I suspect at least 3years, so in the meantime I have to also incorporate lessons and online sales so that I don’t have all my eggs in one basket.

Oh Zilpa - I am so proud of you! And I love the photo of you creating your artwork - and what an amazing piece that is! I know it's a lot of hours, but it sounds like the time just flies by. Post a sample of your card - and i agree with Val - you're another PB star!!!
Cheers,
Sharon

Zilpa,

The card is beautiful.  I love the sepia monochrome look of it.  So classy!

I am so proud of you.

:thankyou: Mea and Val. These are so much fun to do, it does not feel like work at all. I do not do the Christmas ones as a demo because people generally want to buy the ones they see me create and as they are cards to be sent, the nees to be sealed and can take up to two hours to dry.
