 Oh, I like these, Val. I think micro mini is a great way to go when time and space is limited. I"d love to see more of them. Hint hint

Thank you Mea, Liz Patricia and Kathy. These were both done on the back of ... shall we say, not wonderful works?

These were record setting for me..... took less than an hour!  ;D   It's great fun to do these, they are just quick sketches. I think I may use this method to get my w/c back on track as well.
Cheers, Val

Val, I like these mini paintings! I agree, small paintings are fast and can be so satisfying to do.
Life is more exciting with art....

5x7 acrylic sketch using primary colors only and practicing color mixing.  No need to put any Umbers or Siennas in the pochade box!
Eating the last of the Rainier cherries now.

VAL and MEA, I can post from my iPhone but not from iPad.  I'll ask my son to check out the problem with the iPad.
Thanks for always helping me out! ~Liz

That's a great little sketch Liz.  O0   I'll have to try some cherries.... I always loved Nolan's lesson on cherries.

    Great job on your cherries Liz.  I must say that every time I come to this thread of yours, my eyes are drawn to the first pink tree which is outstanding.  I always stop and take a long look at it before going to the end to see and comment on your latest painting.

:thankyou: PATRICIA, my husband likes the pink tree, too!  He sometimes drives slowly on back roads to let me get a photo of a tree  or two.

:thankyou: JAY, sorry to have missed you!  Thanks for looking at my simple works of art. ~Liz

Liz and Val, your paintings are great.  What fun. What a great way to practice and get ideas for a larger painting.

:thankyou: Mary Lou... I have wanted to have a go at Monet's lilies for years. After this I decided to try it in pastel first, mainly because the colours stay where I put them! But I will try in w/c sometime.
Cheers, Val

An acrylic painting that ended up an oil painting when I took a tube of WSO titanium white yesterday.  The paints got wonky when I discovered what I did.   :heeha:   This morning it was touch dry so I finished it up with WSO.  ::)  ~Liz
