I have painted with watercolor for a while and started by selling my originals. But customers continue to ask for the same paintings and I have to repaint them. I'd rather make prints of the original, because when I attempt to repaint them, nothing will ever be as good as the original. Does anyone know of a good printer to use that will scan and print out my watercolor paintings or just print out, that look as close to the original as possible. Preferably onto watercolor paper. Thank you so much! :D

I know there are printers "out there" that can do this, but I don't know what/where they are. Perhaps you could contact some artists who offer prints for sale at galleries close to where you live?

I have prints of my own paintings available on Fine Art America. Might that be another option for you?

I would suggest taking your painting to Kinko or a place that can do a high resolution scan for you. If you have a giclee printer in your area they can do the scanning.   There are a number of sites that you can upload your pic to.  Here is one http://www.gicleetoday.com/prices  Also check out EasyCanvasPrints.com.  Hope this helps😀

My framer in sacramento does this for me. But I also use Fine Art America like Susan does. It's much easier to send folks to this sight, even if I make less money.
Cheers,
Sharon
