So I truly tried to paint Val's special challenge picture...but I just couldn't get into it. I think the problem was the color - it was just too pale for me. So instead of trying over and over again and getting frustrated,  I went ahead and painted a much more vibrant one, based on the colors I saw at the Botanical Gardens here in Puerto Vallarta...Since I'm here for 3 more weeks, I'm going to get this one framed in PV and bring it back to the states - curious if the prices and quality are as good as I get with my framer back home! Any thoughts before I commit it to wood and glass??
Cheers,
Sharon

   Alrighty then! If my current 'episode' goes wonky, I'm following your lead!

I hope the framer is good as well as reasonable.... at least this one is a bit closer, in the next country!   :2funny:

;D Well, Sharon - if the framer is good, reasonable, and cute,  and you still have  artwork to be framed at home ....   ::) ;)

Your non-challenge succulent is lovely - it will look really good framed.

Thanks, Cath - I feel like I'm cheating on my framer back home, but as long as no one tells him...!!

Picked this up from the framer in Puerto Vallarta! Only $25 USD for the double mat, non reflective Glass and custom made frame (I got to help chiloose the frame and mat colors!) Now just have to schlep this back to Sac!!
Cheers,
Sharon
