Happy Retirement Dennis. Thank you for being such a patient and talented art instructor. You helped me so much with finally producing a pastel drawing that I really like. I wish you a healthy and happy retirement and hope to see some of your future art works and books. I was a pleasure getting to know you and Nolan  through The Paintbasket.

Happy retirement Dennis, glad to know you are about to continue with your writing. I thank you for the 4 or so years I spend with you as a teacher while you and Anna lived in Auckland. I certainly learnt an incredible amount of painting techniques, do and don's and how to do things with oils, which I now apply to my paintings with confidence. Thanks a lot and enjoy your retirement years.  :thankyou:  Connie

You have given us some wonderful art and great lessons to follow Dennis.  We haven't been on here lately due to the youngest homeschool artist now in senior high school, but hopefully we can get back into it this semester. Thank you for providing such inspiration! Enjoy your retirement!

Dear Dennis,
I am so happy that you are taking time to pursue your other interests and dreams. I have so enjoyed learning watercolor through your classes. I used to enjoy sharing your site with other painters. Good luck in all you do.

Nolan, thank you so much for introducing me to the art of graphite drawing. Your classes were so informational and helped me not to be afraid to pick up those pencils and draw.

And thank you both for offering a wonderful site where I could meet artists from all over the world who were starting out like I was. The support I received was amazing.

Good luck and best wishes to you both.

Happy retirement Dennis, The lessons learnt from both you and Nolan have been and always will be invaluable to me and many more new artists. Paint Basket has taught me how to think and see as an artist, not forgetting the practical skills. My success as an artist is due to all I have learnt from the both of you, and I will be forever grateful to you both. So a huge thank you and I wishyou all the happiness in your new adventures. : :thankyou: :thankyou: :thankyou:

Dear Teacher,

Enjoy your retirement well deserved and I wish you success in your adventure into writing.

I would like to be the first buyer of the book you are preparing for publication.

I totally agree with Brian.

Thank you so much.
