Post your drawing for June 2017 Challenge here.

1/ Post only one drawing per person. Post only your finished drawing. If you need help, post it in the encourager section.

2/ Do your best to keep your entry as close as possible to the original Challenge photo. Please DO NOT make additions or changes to the subject unless otherwise stated. We try to maintain a fair and equal field for all entries from beginner to advanced.
Feel free to use the subject photos in your own creation BUT place it in the Encourager section, NOT in the challenge. Thank you for your ongoing support of these challenges.

3/ Any SINGLE dry drawing medium may be used....Graphite, Coloured Pencil (lead), Charcoal, or Ink may be used. If it is not specifically listed, DON'T USE IT! If you are unsure, PM me directly.

4/ When posting your entry, please list type of pencil used. Not mandatory, but appreciated as it may help someone with less experience.

5/ HAVE FUN !!!    :yippee:

Cheers, Val

Oh I love this photo Val,  I love taking photos of doors and gates especially if they are in disrepair .   :smitten:

A question:  in the "rules" it says a single dry medium, so would that mean I may not combine Graphite with colour pencils or  charcoal etc, ?  :)

For the sake of keeping things simple, they are being treated as separate mediums. Graphite however, may be used for the initial sketch/drawing.

Feel free to use any combination but please post it in the drawing encourager section and not the challenge.  :thankyou:

I, too,  love this one Val - Am looking forward to doing it in different mediums - not only drawing it for the challenge.

Did you print out or make a copy in black/white? I find that helps me a lot. Good on you for giving it a go!  :gl2:

Might still be a good idea to print a B&W as that just helps with sorting the strength of values and proper placements. The colour printout helps to get the colourings correct.
Whichever method/medium you use, take advantage of every possible tool that helps.  O0
