Just found a youtube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r7XVI6hSU2Q          on how to get the best results when photographing your paintings with your phone using either Instagram or google photos. I tried google photos editing on my latest creation and I think it has really made the photo look more like the painting. Fantastic!!!!!!!!!!! :yippee:

I gave up on the phone photos a while ago. Even with the camera, the picture looks fantastic on the screen, but when loaded to the computer looks totally different. The best photos I ever got of artwork was my old Sony camera 10 years ago! Shame the artwork wasn't as good then!  :2funny:

Val.  My phone photo edit worked really well. I usually take photos with the phone or my tablet because I don't have a camera. However :2funny: I can't work out how to move the beautiful edited pic to Paint basket, or even to my laptop... I waste so much time on fumbling with IT issues.....

I did it the same way with my phone as my camera..... plug in a cable.

I just email the photos to myself and then process them in either PAINT or Picasa.  Then save and post them to PB

I'm the techie nerd in this house... believe it or not I seem to understand more about computers than most of my acquaintances. I do have one software designer nephew, but he's in Sydney and nice, but unable to talk Layman. Your idea seems pretty clever MEA... It is ridiculous that, despite OneDrive, I can't use the same editing program on all my different devices, but instead have to route it through Paint and now Email...OneDrive is more like OneDay... Actually the editing on Google photo is very good, so it may all be worth it. :thankyou:
