A few recent stuff. Composites. The leaf one is one that isn't. It was on a cutting board.
The moment you find yourself mostly satisfied with a painting and think you'll "just quickly" do this or that, that's the moment to stop completely. Take the painting off your easel and put it aside for at least 24 hours, then reassess whether it really needs that tweak.

Val, ask away. I'd be glad to help you with photography. Do you  have photoshop by any chance?

No I don't have photoshop. I have a free program called  'PhotoScape'. It has a section to combine photos, I just can't seem to get the hang of it.  :crazy2:

When you say combine, do you mean you can make "layers"?  (one photo on top on another)

This just might be the crux of the matter.....I honestly don't know!  :crazy2:   I'll have a go at it tonight and see if I can at least give you a plausible explanation.  ::)
