    Val, while I would love you to finish your Elle, I can wait another year or so to see it completed for it looks like it is going to be fantastic.  I have always loved the way you shade your drawings and this is no exception so far.  Just looking at the ear with all the wrinkles taking shape, the lights and the darks.  I just love it so please finish it for us.

I agree with Patricia here, Val. Please complete it no matter how long it takes.

Thanks Linley, I was going to say ask Nolan but I see Cath has already answered. Apparently it is an African Effe. I'll have to go back online and find the photo for another looksee. Will download the ref. and see how far out I am!  ::)

Ta much Patricia, I promise I will do my best to see it through. If it proves a bit much, I'll lay in some charcoal. Probably would have been better to use charcoal in the first place. Much easier for me to see and work with. Live and learn!  :crazy2:

Thanks so much Cath, have no fear I'll get it done. Just hope it doesn't take as long as that blasted stone wall!  :2funny:   That had me teetering on the edge for over 2 years!  :crazy2:   But I did it.  O0

Just some 'things' I had lying about, trying to do a little bit each night in the calm spots. Didn't know what to do last night, so I think i'll put a slosh of w/c over these and i'll post them later in the w/c section.

Nice drawings and they should look nice with a bit of watercolour

    Interesting drawings Val.  I always marvel at how dark you get your darks.  Your shading is always eye catching too.

Thanks guys, it's about all I can manage in the bouncing... there are pages where the pencil just took off on its own when waves would hit!

I'm practicing some cat poses as I have a portrait to do.  My people still need a lot of practicing.   :painting:

Here's my latest attempt based on one of Jackie Simmonds lessons from her book. Hers of course is in pastel, I'm still in the sketching stage.  ;D

I managed this over two stormy nights.

Lovely drawing, Val. I really like how you did the drizzled chocolate.
