I meant to post this the other day when I put it in my album but I got one of my darn migraines. I used Oils, Acrylics and Texture Paste in this painting. The texture paste didn't come out too good in the picture so I cut out a piece. I used a palette knife to apply it... I used the acrylics on the stairs.

 I still think like in her arms I could have blended better. I welcome any help

Good painting, overall.  Beautiful blue dress. 

The stairs need more definition to look realistic.  Look closely at your reference photo and try to as close to that as possible.

If troublesome, use your artistic license to paint them out and use only the one she is sitting on and maybe the one beneath that.  I would think there would need to be a shadow or some form of darkness at the angle where the white step meets the riser of the step above.

This is good enough to make it better.  Go for it!

Thanks Mea, I'll put that shadow in. I think I try to do too much and in the end it comes out all mumbley jumbley. I'll fix it.
