So that's what a squirrel looks like... I've read about them in children's stories but never seen one for real, not even in a zoo! They are not native in this country and must be the only European animal the pioneers didn't bring with them... We (Australia) have foxes, rabbits, starlings, blackbirds, dogs, cats and goldfinches, some of them beloved, others long regretted. The drawing looks pretty good to me, but as you can see, my judgement might be way off. I did think squirrels had perky ears with tufts on them?

Thanks This is the squirrel from the lesson in the course for Pencil, They are a bit different in Canada  but similar.

You have drawn a delightful little critter (unless they get into your attic).

The closest thing to a squirrel in Hawaii seems to be the mongoose. (no relation at all, I think)
