Post your drawing for May 2017 Challenge here.

1/ Post only one drawing per person. Post only your finished drawing. If you need help, post it in the encourager section.

2/ Do your best to keep your entry as close as possible to the original Challenge photo. Please DO NOT make additions or changes to the subject unless otherwise stated. We try to maintain a fair and equal field for all entries from beginner to advanced.
Feel free to use the subject photos in your own creation BUT place it in the Encourager section, NOT in the challenge. Thank you for your ongoing support of these challenges.

3/ Any SINGLE dry drawing medium may be used....Graphite, Coloured Pencil (lead), Charcoal, or Ink may be used. If it is not specifically listed, DON'T USE IT! If you are unsure, PM me directly.

4/ When posting your entry, please list type of pencil used. Not mandatory, but appreciated as it may help someone with less experience.

5/ HAVE FUN !!!    :yippee:

Cheers, Val

Here's my entry for the drawing challenge.
8 x 10 using Staedtler colored pencils.
Had to get it in before we leave for Europe in a couple of days!
Thanks
Brian

Brian,Lovely picture.  I like the way you have really brought the bird forward to be focal point of your drawing.

Enjoy your trip  :).  - The weather is like a yoyo at present here in southern Germany!

Thanks! He turned out skinnier than I planned. He needs to eat more worms! We're looking forward to experiencing the weather in Southern Germany soon!

I promised myself to give the challenges a go. Freehand drawing isn't my favourite thing but gave it a go
