Because Of my depth perception problem, I have had to start using a desk top instead of an easel. I have been trying to do watercolour and it has been much more difficult than acrylics because it is so easy to make a mistake and so difficult to fix. After many throw aways I think I am starting to get it and this is one of the first tries that I think worthy of posting

Wow, you did that with your desktop!  Good start, you sure have vibrant colours

I think the horizon between sky and sea may need to be a bit more defined.  What do you think?

Anne. I hope i didn't mislead you. I did this on top of a desk (ie Horizontal surface). That way I can rest my hand while I search for the tip of the brush to the canvas.
I agree with you on the differentiation and I will try to correct that.
Thanks

desk top vs. top of the desk !!!   You did not mislead me, it is me who did not process correctly what I read.

Never the less, I love your painting.  I understand your visual challenge but you are managing well from the look of this WC.   Hope you find tricks to adapt  :gl:

Alan

It's so good to see your work again.

Sorry to hear about the eye problem, but you seem to have compensated quite well.  Love you colors.

I often paint on a table top because it's just easier for me to control the brush better.

Keep at it.

I also sit at a table for WC, but I stand at the easle for oil... mostly because otherwise I would spend way to much time sitting  ???

Nice job, Alan!   I agree about having a better defined horizon line. Also, to me, the blue and white tones in the sky and sea are too similar. Maybe mute the sea a bit more.
