Well I finally started attempting drawing I must admit I traced basic outlines just too hard yet at the moment.  I attempted this as I want to do a pastel giving it a go anyway that's another forum.

I will be grateful for any comments I haven't  completed the background yet as this was a trial for pastel I hadn't decided on the background.  I'm thinking of the bush in the background but not very detailed so the man and dog are the focus.

Very nice sketch of th man with his dog.  Hard to believe that you are new at drawing.

sorry I did do Nolan's neally all or his drawing lessons  about 2 years ago  and then stopped.  I think I'm so ready for this but this is the first time Im on my own really I was bagged many years ago at my attempt to learn drawing and shot my confidence so Paintbasket is so good for me.  As I said I still don't free hand all of it.
