Farewell my Emma
« on: March 19, 2017, 12:38:17 PM »
We are devastated.
Yesterday we had to say goodbye to our old girl Emma.
Born 7/29/2003, she passed away peacefully around 2PM on 3/18/2017
She had problems lying down and walking for some time, but yesterday, she just couldn't get up anymore and her eyes were saying "it's been enough"

An empty space in our house
A raw spot in our hearts
Tears, so many tears

I am so sorry to hear about your Emma. I remember only too well the sting of losing members of my animal family. It is truly a gift when an animal accepts us as part of their family. Take comfort in knowing she no longer suffers, and rejoice in the happy and love filled times you had together.

RIP Emma.
Cheers, Val

Absolutely heartbreaking. Tears are rolling down my cheeks because our animals are like our children and I feel your pain but what lovely wording on Emma's photo "there is no death, only a change of worlds" ... take comfort in those words for we will all meet again.

Very sorry to hear of your loss. Pets can become almost like children. To lose them is very painful.

I hope that soon happy memories will mitigate your grief. In the meantime: my deepest sympathy. :(
