200 years anniversary
« on: March 14, 2017, 01:01:30 PM »
For our town 200 year anniversary, in July 2017, we will organize an art exhibition. Every artist at our gallery will produce 2 items for the exhibition. This one painting is the most complicated and at this moment is WIP and is one of the oldest bridges over the Black River. I hope you like it. The second one is not even started and will be the Historical society building. Hopefully I will be able to start soon that one too. As every time, please critique for me to improve my work. Thanks you, Doina :flowers:

Can you provide us with the photo/image you use to do this painting?  Something confuses me, but I may be wrong.
Cheers, Annie

Sounds like an exciting event, Doina.

The bridge structure looks well drawn - just confused as the color of the reflection of the bridge seems different from the color of the top of the bridge.  Or is it just because it is a WIP?

Yes Mea, I had to bring the greenish/brown color of the water. It will be brighter at the end.
Annie here is the picture. As you see i have a lot to to to finish this.

OK, thanks, Doina.  Now I see where the colors came from.

This is going to be really good.

 Lots of work ahead but judging by what you have so far it is going to be brilliant.  O0
