Don't forget to work in those darks. They will give you better separation between the berries and enhance the 3D effect.

Totally agree w/ u Val and thanks for the comment.  When I compared my drawing with the reference I thought I already shaded the shadows and dark spots too dark.  I wonder if that's because of the printer printing the reference too light, but I thought it's basically me who needed to check the whole drawing for shade consistency. Anyway, after I took a photo of my drawing (it's happening again, all those afterthoughts) I did notice that at least the grape in the lower center was too light. 

Also thanks to Mea and Steve!  Yes I need to keep lighten myself up but darken my drawings  :2funny:

That's good, Warwick, that you make comparisons between the  reference and the drawing.

My experience is that the minute I put the drawing or painting up on the FORUM, I find something wrong with it.
