No worries Warwick, we don't run on punch clocks here!  ;D   Good thing..... if we did... I'd have been fired!  :faint: :2funny:

Hello Steve!  Thanks for the thumbs up!
Hello Val!  Ha... yes!  I am glad that we can be snails and tortoises here!!!  :2funny:  I am too excited and I need to slow down!
Now, I said I should have darkened the shadow more for the first sphere...

...Anyway, now that it's uploaded, I think I should have darkened the shadow more...argh...
However, instead of modifying it I created the Sphere 2.0.  The left sphere is, of course, Sphere 2.0 (as labelled!).  The right is my very first sphere.
Yeah let's :fight: our way to perfection!

Hello All and thanks Patricia!

I have a question on the Berries.  I watched the video a few times, but I still am not sure if I am using the veins I drew from the transfer technique as the center of the veins or as the edge of the veins' shadows.  I should erase the veins while drawing the final ones, shouldn't I?

Thanks again.
Warwick.

Hi Warwick, :)

The lines are more or less guidelines. Pun not intended.  They're there for general placement of the vein. You could use them for the hard edge of the vein. Hope this helps.

2nd Tone Chart (the one on the bottom).   :excercise: Paving my way to the big project - the berries.  Maybe it is ready to be laminated this time.

:heeha: Wow, thank you so much for all of your encouragement!  Teacher Nolan was in the house!  Yeah!  You are awesome, man!  Now even a dude who got Ds in art throughout his elementary school years can draw because of you.

Squeezing time between unending projects at work, non-stop kids, plus various unsolvable problems, finally I have time to finish my first looooong project (nope, it definitely took more than 2 hours Teacher Nolan) :painting:.  Tada, enjoy "The Vine"(aka berries, but they do look like grapes) people!!!   Comments very welcomed.

Great job Warwick!

Don't forget to work in those darks. They will give you better separation between the berries and enhance the 3D effect.
Cheers, Val
