Thank you very much, Mea, Val, Teresa, Patricia and Annie! I'm grateful for your warm words and appreciation  :1hug:
Val, I hope you'll visit these places, I'm sure they are majestic and would make a great subject for some drawings.

This one is based on a carving I've seen on a house from the medieval city of Sibiu, Transylvania. I've given it the title ''The dragon of Hermannstadt'', which comes from the German name of the town, Hermann being its legendary founder.
It is the first time I try white pencil on black paper, so any tips or piece of advice would be greatly appreciated.  :)

:heeha: Brilliant Rebeca  O0   I love the white on black, very dramatic. I have some black paper..... I have white charcoal pencils. What type of pencil did you use on yours?
Cheers, Val

:thankyou: Steve, Val and Mea! :)
Val, I too like very much white pencil on black paper, you can obtain very interesting effects. I hope I will learn more about this technique in the future. For this drawing I used Derwent Coloursoft and Drawing (this one mainly for the highlights) pencils, I really like their soft and creamy texture.

You are wowing us with these, girl.  Very nicely done.  Love the depth you created inside the mouth.

Just out of curiosity, what is the actually statue (??) or carving (??) done in??
