 Hi Diane from Canada!!  :heeha:   Tell us a bit about yourself, what medium(s) do you like to work in or are you new to art? We (meaning I  ::) ) are a nosy bunch  :nosey: and look forward to seeing your works and then you can help me along!  :heeha:    ;)

Have fun and come often. Just sing out if you need a hand and someone will be along to help sort you out!
Cheers, Val

Well welcome aboard  :bigwelcome: (I'm the quiet one jumping in the back  )! The Let's Draw Course is fantastic and has started some of our best drawers! That sounds a bit naughty...perhaps I should say draw-ers. Regardless, you are in the best hands and will grow along at lightning speed.

You will find you'll grow into the other mediums, so difficult for me, our Clark Boys make them all so enticing!  :faint:

Have fun and we're all here to cheer you on  :cheering: :cheering: :cheering:
Cheers, Val

Welcome, Diane.

Love the name -Sketchabit.  Could be read SKETCH-HABIT or SKETCH-A-BIT!  Very clever.  I like you already and have not even seen your art work.

Yes, drawing is the place to start.  I am living proof.  I had ZERO drawing ability before I started the Let's Draw Course.  Now, I draw all the time.  Even have taken up ink drawing (line and wash).

Nolan and Dennis are fabulous instructors and there are so many fabulous supportive members here.

Let's see what you can do!

:welcome: Welcome Diane. I also started with Zentangle. I love the Zentangle as it taught me to just let go and create. I didn't feel pressure because my designs didn't have to look like anything in particular but were pretty and fun.
I wanted something more and found Paintbasket and the "Let's Draw" course. It was amazing.

It warms my heart when I see new "Let's Draw" students arrive. Nolan's teaching is fabulous. He gives wonderful instruction and he's entertaining besides.  I look forward to your work.
