Pat,
I was mostly refering to novels, not reference books. I use the public library a lot now.  Free and I can order on line, I just drop buy and pick up, return to a scran shute (outdoor, no need to park and go in).  Fabulous service.  I start making a photocopy of the cover and use the back to write a few notes... you can pack a lot of those in a single 3-ring binder and later I can also scan it.

If your family is close by, give then some of your art books... keep a copy of the content... and borrow them as needed

Sneaky free storage, wish I had though of this before  :2funny:  :2funny: :2funny:  >:D
Cheers, Annie

:smitten: I love all the posts, well wishes and excellent purging ideas. I, too, love the purging process. It's so refreshing to just keep what I really want and need. It's a bit harder for my hubby. He likes to keep things.

Patricia, I wish you well in your move. You may find that you enjoy less home space to take care of. Our last move, 3 years ago, was from a 4 bedroom house on a 1/2 arce of land. Our current home that just sold is a 2 bedroom condo. I LOVE having less up keep.

:thankyou:  Kathy, I hope I will enjoy the smaller space and as you say, less to clean and to take care of.  Let us know how you go with your move too.  Just wish we were both already settled.    Patricia

Me too, Patricia! We will be in due time and back to our art projects. Sure wish we were moving into the same town. It would be so fun.  :1hug:

Patricia, I love your new photo.  You look younger everytime you post a new avatar.

Kathy, I also went from 4 bedrms to 2 bedrms when grand-ma left us and family shrinked when we move to Western Canada... but my dream remains a big lot with hudge garden but with a smaller house.

Hope you both found your dream home... more important than the physical building, i.e. house.

Annie,

I love Patricia's new photo too. You are beautiful, Patricia!

Hello my PB friends,

I have been so busy planning, packing, and still working full time. All is going great with the upcoming move. I've been checking in and looking at all the lovely artwork you've been posting. I just haven't been able to stay on long enough to comment.

I hope to be back to my art and PB sometime in April.

Oh! Annie, I somehow missed your post about my new avatar.   :thankyou:  so much for the wonderful comments and also for your advice on the books.  Good thinking and a wonderful way to save space too.
:thankyou:  You too Kathy for such sweet comments. Wow, it makes me feel young again!!! (I wish). Lovely to see you popping in when you have a moment. Can't wait for you to do the latest pencil drawing of the Textured Gas Station for you will do a fantastic job on it. You are in my thoughts and hope all goes well with the move. We start moving at the end of this month but have a whole month in which to make the move so it won't be too bad (I hope).

I wish you well with your move too, Patricia. It looks like you and I are on a similar schedule.  ;)
The gas station looks like fun. You did a wonderful job on it. I have SO many classes I want to catch up with when I'm back at it.   :painting:

Kathy, don't stress for once you are settled, you will have time to catch up and will probably be so happy to sit and do some art which definitely is a de-stressor which you will, no doubt, need after the move.  ;)   Wishing you well with the move and much happiness in your new State and nearer your loved ones.

:painting: I sure have missed my PB family. Happily, we are all moved into our new home in Tennessee. We have been here 2 and a half weeks. I've already had loads of family time going to soccer games, school programs, and more. My heart is full of joy. I start my new job next week.   :D

I am so out of the art loop. No art in over 2 months.  Eek 😬!

I renewed my OLA membership tonight. Can't wait to get my pencils into my hands tomorrow.

I have a lot of catching up to do with all of you and your art creations.
