Wow!! What a blast that class was  :)  Even though I turned up late and missed the beginning, I have never worked so fast before and you should have seen the mess afterwards......

So here is my version of the live class speed painting session. As you can see the trees on the left look like mud monsters rearing up out of the sludge  :) Lesson learned from this one - keep your fingers clean or you get mud..  :)

Fiona, still a very beautiful painting. Well done

All you guys did great. Now imagine how you would do, if you did it over again, at your own normal speed  :flowers: You have already sorted out the problems in your own mind.

Fiona,

It's beautiful.  I especially love the trees on the left plenty of negative space in them.

Thank you all for your kind comments  :) I think we all did rather well in keeping up with Mr D - the speed painter  :2funny:

Dennis's comment about doing this again in your own time set the ole grey cells working.....  So using the live class piece as an underpainting to work from, I spent a bit more time refining and tweaking, again I set a timer of 2 hours to stop myself fiddling. And this is the result - basically 4 hours of intense work without the faffing around I normally do!! I even added the birdies in the sky ... :)

As always crits, comments etc are most welcome

Cheers
Fi
