Thank you so mush for your lovely comments Patricia, Doina and Val.  I like the medium but so far it stresses me because it dries so fast, and somehow I have paint all over me, good thing I have put old pajamas to paint. :D

thank you DayJill for your kind words, I just get so messy when doing acrylic, I keep having to clean my pallet multiple times during a painting and in the process I paint myself  ;D

Good job, Danielle! Have you tried mixing in some retarder or other medium that extends the drying time? I liked acrylics, but switched to oils so I can learn without being too focused on the drying time. Once I have a good foundation, I plan on getting back into them..

Save those old pajamas Danielle.....When you're done with them they can be displayed up on a board and auctioned off.   :heeha: You can't get more original than that!  :heeha:      :2funny:

Thank you Steve for the information,   I know that Nolan sprays water on the pallet and on the canvas, so this is what I am trying to do at the moment, and Dennis uses a medium.  I might try to use some medium soon,  thank you for the info.

Always humorous Val, you make me laugh.

Thank you
Danielle

:thankyou: Nolan,  you are right, I remember being stressed over water colours too, and I love that medium.

Reflections are very well done Danielle. Ive always only worked with acrylics ...in my own fashion  :)... and am now dappling in watercolour and am encouraged that you once felt stressed, exactly how I feel, so shall push on and hope to produce something  Wow one day  as well.  :)
