The issue is not with the email address.  I cannot see how changing it would solve the problem.  I will contact Nolan.  Thanks Mea got your email.
Cheers, Annie

Yes, he seems as perplexed as we are.  We have correct addresses, but for some reason, the newsletters are not coming to some people.

We'll see what happens next time.

I got the first 2, then nothing.

Any chance the addresses are in alpha order (or some order) and the sending dies before the end of the list?  Unlikely but worth checking... it is indead rather a strange problem. But there has to be a logical explanation.

Are the links for the older one still active?
Cheers, Annie

The newest Paintbasket E-newsletter has been edited and is ready to be sent.  You should be receiving it in the next few days. I will send a message as soon as I know it has gone out.

Since there are a number of you who have trouble receiving them, I have done a bit of research and found some possible reasons why.

MailChimp has these suggestions:
Typically, when subscribers don't see your email in their inboxes, it's because of spam filters. If your recipients have looked in their spam or junk folders and still don't see your campaign, there are a few other things to investigate.

Is a particular subscriber not getting your emails? Ask them to add your From email address (members@paintbasket.com) to their contact list or address book.

If your From email address ((members@paintbasket.com)) is in their address book, have them check their spam filter settings to be sure that your content and/or address isn't blocked.

Are they using a webmail provider such as AOL, Yahoo, or Hotmail? These providers throttle delivery, which can sometimes result in emails taking about 24 hours to be delivered to a specific email account.

Other info from my research:
Could there be an internal firewall?  If you are using a corporate or university email account, ask your server administrator or IT department to handle whitelisting MailChimp's servers.

Also, I have tried on the next email to eliminate anything in the subject line that might trigger a SPAM filter.  It will have only the title and date.

Dear Mea;

I was very very sad to hear of Tousabella (Retta) passing, she
was a fellow BCite and a fellow Canadian.  She will be missed

Another fine newsletter, Mea.

I was very sorry to learn about Retta. She was a kind and generous soul.

Hi Mea,

The old timer here.  Just want to let you know that I appreciate your newsletters.  You are doing a fantastic job!!!

Thanks for mentioning Retta.  She was around here as long, I think as I was and unlike me, was an active part of the family.  We loved her.  She will be missed.

When I snoop around the Paintbasket site, I'm always so amazed to see how so many have advanced to become great artists.  It's still the best place in the world to learn to draw and paint.
"The way to be happy," said Winston Churchill, "is to find something that requires the kind of perfection that's impossible to achieve and spend the rest of your life trying to achieve it."
