I am sorry to announce that the Paintbasket newsletter for June did not get sent out because of circumstances beyond our control. There will be a July issue around the middle of the month.

I will try to make it the best one yet.

I have limited Internet access while on vacation so I miss my daily interactions with you.

Mea for another very interesting Newsletter and for choosing me for the Angel Fund Award.  I am totally in shock. I feel so very blessed and the tears are welling up in my eyes.  Thank you all so much.  I am lost for words but just know that I feel and am so very honoured and grateful. Love you all.

Don't think of being overwhelmed... just dig in and enjoy painting.

Are the grand-children old enough to do finger painting along with you?  My daughter did her first painting, with a brush, at 18 months.  Still sitting in her high chair... I mean at 18 months, not now  ;)

Hi Annie, Yes, my grandchildren are all old enough and I had in spanned them from an early age too. The youngest has just turned three and she has her own paints and brushes and just adores painting and drawing as do the others, so there is hope that I have awakened their creative side. Strangely enough, my second youngest grandchild told me only a few days ago, that they are lucky to have a Granny like me for I have taught them so much. I felt very blessed to hear that because I do try.

Thanks, Patricia.  You bring such grace to Paintbasket.  And humor. And thoughtfulness. And so much more.
