Hi my name is Bert de Villiers and I am very excited about the website !

I Took a few classes back in the 90's with mr Dennis and unfortunately our ways separated as I moved to the USA.
The basics and tips he taught be back then stuck with me thru all these years .
I was stuck in a gear for the last 30 years and now that I have found him and Nolan it gives me great inspiration to become a better artist .
To see their work/teachings  and those of other members of the website make me so motivated .
I hope to join some classes soon !!!!
Happy new year to all and all the best !

Bert de villiers

A very warm  :welcome:  Bert to our Paint Basket family where Dennis and Nolan go above and beyond to impart their knowledge to us.  I suppose, having been a former student of Dennis' this isn't new to you. However, we also have the most fantastic members one could wish for, so you have come to the right place for sure.  Looking forward to seeing more of your work.

:bigwelcome: Welcome Bert. How exciting that you were previously a student of Dennis's. I can imagine it was a great learning experience to physically be in his classroom. I found Paintbasket February 2016. I am  amazed at the quality of the classes Dennis and Nolan create. It will be a pleasure to have you joining us and sharing your artwork on the forum.  :painting:

Bert, what a pleasure to  :welcome: you to the Paint Basket Forum. For the information of the others, we did recently make contact through Facebook after so many years and was glad to see that you had carried on painting. Please make yourself at home here. We have a fantastic group of members only too eager to also help others. May this year be the best you have ever had
