:thankyou:  Dennis for an enjoyable class.  Here is my submission. I took the photo in the night and the colours haven't come out as brilliant as what they are.  Comments and critiques are gratefully received.  Thank you.

Patricia

This is the second photo of my painting of the Mallard Duck taken in daylight which show the colours more true to life than the night shot.    Patricia

Awww Patricia, he's beautiful!  :1hug:

When I was growing up I used to just drift through the marshes watching and feeding these guys. Pleasant memories. Maybe I'll get to this fellow next week.
Cheers, Val

:thankyou:  Val, I am a bit disappointed in how the colour came out in the photograph but I will try and retake it in the morning when it is lighter and re-post it for the colours are dull in the photo but not in real life. Gosh, you sound like me, I feed everything that ventures into our yard. Flocks of birds come daily for their seeds and peanuts. I love nature.  Looking forward to seeing your Mallard duck painting Val.

:thankyou:  so much Dennis. I have learned my lesson, not to take photos in the night.
