So fun to take an oil class from Dennis!! And I loved that it was done without the need to trace from a photo. Learned a lot from this lesson.
Cheers,
Sharon

Oh, no.  Looks like the "missing picture gremlins" are at it again.  I saw Sharon's painting a minute ago and now it is gone from the FORUM topic message.

I did like it, though, Sharon.

I like it a lot Sharon. You did great work. Love that front tree!!

I did this one when I was just starting on oils it would be fun to do it over again to see how I do.

I appreciate that, Robynann! And I'd love to see your redo. I remember I redid a number of the watercolor classes, especially in the beginning. It's fun to see how much we can progress in a short period of time.
Cheers,
Sharon

Sharon, I think you have a bit too much slope on the rooftop of the house. (front to back). Has more slope than the eaves. Tree looks fabulous!

Thanks Louisa - your redo is excellent!

And I see what you mean about the roof slope, Val - I'll try to fix that. I also like how Louisa added more vegetation around the left side of the house - I may try that too...
Cheers,
Sharon

Forgot to post this last week before I left for PV. Fixed the roof and added more flowers. Definitely looks better!

Sharon
