I had no time to post it earlier,i did it on canvas panel,trees and sky i did in acrylics,to show movement of water i used the arabic gum and than i painted it with oil,the cattails i did in oil too

Wow, this is really good.  You created a real separation of the cattails and the background.  I can really see the distance between them.

I don't undrstand how you use arabic gum with acrylic and then oil  :confused:  I thought it was a medium for watercolour.

Annie,the arabic gum is a glue,and you can use it in all mediums,here i used to show movements of water and then i painted in oils on it,its realy nice effects also with watercolor

Thank you for your reply Maria.

If I understand corectly, I can used it over any type of paint to create texture, and then paint over it with any type of paint,  and I can also used it as a glue.  This sounds fantastic!  I have to do some tests.  Thanks  :flowers:

Annie i made tests seperate and for me it worked but wait till glue is dry
