Dennis, at about 1hr. 10min. in you are using a white paint direct from the tube. Is that a Chinese or Titanium white w/c?

Val, for watercolour it is Chinese White. No problem if you use Acrylic Titanium White - only you can move it when it is dry.

Here is my hurricane lamp. Thank you Dennis for a fun lesson.   My background came out odd, but my husband says it looks like an old barn door so it goes with the lamp....Had trouble with my numbers and the matchbox...Your thoughts are appreciated. Thank you!

Love this hurricane lamp painting.  Such intense colors.  Beautiful blue!

    Mary Lou, you have done such a good job on the hurricane lamp.  I have had the template ready to paint for weeks and weeks but just can't get to it for I am trying to catch up and tend to do the latest lessons first with the hope of finding time for the backlog  :crazy2:

Very nice job, Mary Lou!   The only thing I noticed is the leaves look too flat. They need some depth.

Thanks Steve. The leaves are part of the tablecloth and are flat in the reference photo.
