If I ever needed inspiration to try portraiture in w/c ... I have found it. This gentleman is for me is beyond description. Even if you don't paint in w/c, I urge you to have a look at his work, portraits, structures, land and seascapes. Prepare to be amazed.

As you say Dennis...  the light went on!  ;D  I have seen a lot of wonderful w/c paintings, but still never quite grasped the full capabilities of watercolour.
I may have been a bit over the top with excitement  :yippee: about your upcoming course, I'm afraid I may now be over the wall, across the field and far away! Not to mention a bit round the twist!  :heeha:
How many days............    :D

Hey Val I agree his work is awesome. Hard to believe you can get that kind of detail in watercolour. I have tried to do some watercolour. But can't seem to get the hang of it.   :2funny:

I don't think I'll be so bashful with my colours from now on. Must have the patience of a saint to do all of that fine detail. I'd be thrilled just to get the basic concept right!
Approximately 58 days to D Day........DENNIS DAY!!!  :yippee:
