What great inspirational people producing exceptional work. A true vindication of Nolan's teaching of the Rose and, Dennis's skills on the camera.
I congratulate you all for reaching the final 5. To those who haven't got there this time, be inspired to continue improving and learning from Nolan & Dennis, then share your delights on the forum.
I've cast my vote. I'd personally rather not say who for, so it doesn't influence or sway other peoples choices away from their own.
Good luck and, I look forward to hearing the choice.
I best get on with my own 'Rose' now! (I changed direction and, I'm always messing with experimentations and the one I've been trialling will make you laugh at my crazy antics! I'll explain later in a new post on 'How The Old Masters Got luminosity In Paintings'.

I was a bit leary about that, (influencing) but the poll box wasn't there when I was on this morning.  ??? Strange. Oh well, I cast my vote...hope it didn't upset anything Nolan.  :peace:
Cheers, Val

I loved them all but thought Val's was the best by a fine margin - I think it was the contrast between the background and the lovely petals - great. :yippee:

They are all beautiful and each artist should be very pleased with their work!      Definitely a difficult choice! My vote is in, though.

Such a hard decision, but No 4 was my favourite. Good luck to all the finalists.

I've also found it difficult to pick a winner as they do all look so good.  Went with the one that for me just had a little more contrast than the others.  Everyone's a winner with painting skills like though. Well done.

Although you can almost smell the scent of #5 I prefer the warmer colours of #3. Well done all.

  All the roses are really beautifully painted.  I vote for ValW.  The colours and values are very well done.
Congratulations to all of you who made it to the finals.  Keep on painting.
