I kind of already do!
I take stuff down to my portrait classes and sell them to my classmates. Pays for my supplies and they get good deals.

For those of you in the USA.  In case you are not aware.  Michaels accepts competitors coupons.  So collect your Joanns coupons too.  Also apart from the ones that you get in the newspapers and emails,  you can load, Michaels, Joanns, and Retailmenot apps on your phone. (Look for Michaels coupons under Michaels store on Retailmenot) Each of them show the up-to-date coupons.  You can only use one coupon per transaction.  Depending who is on the register, the person may allow you to do multiple transactions one after the other.  Others let you do 2 and then you have to get in line again.  but who cares when you are getting 50% off your art supplies.  I took my husband with me the other day.  Used coupons from each of the methods mentioned above. (By the way, I loaded his phone with the apps mentioned so that added another 3 coupons)  We went bankrypt saving money LOL.

I don't know how long this deal is good for but I walked into Arron's tonight by chance and they had the economy canvas multi packs on sale 2 for $20 any size up to 16 x 20 and you can mix different sizes. I got a 7 pack of 11 x 14's and a 5 pack of 16 x 20's all for $20. No coupons required and I didn't see any limit on how many you could get,

For those in Canada, this may be of interest to you....could save a lot on shipping. I found these guys while up north last year. Couldn't remember the name...   just found it!  ::)    ;D

Yep, DeSerres is a good art supply store. Very general stock, everything from kids crayons & paints to fine oil paints and canvases. It's moderately expensive, but no more so than Michael's which is basically a hobby shop. They are only in larger Canadian centres, Halifax, Toronto, and the like.
As they are on-line, you can check to find out if they carry what you want, and I have found the staff to be very helpful over the phone. No shipping charge on orders over (I think) $75.00 which is a no brainer for me in an art store!!!

Aaron bros has a 50% off one item, 25% off entire purchase and 70% off all non-multi pack canvases for this weekend.

Dick Blick is doing 15% off orders of $99 and 25% off $159 and free shipping on both but that price needs to be hit after discount, so orders of $118 and $214 get the discount and free shipping.

Jerry's Artarama is $15 off $99, $35 off $159,and $50 off $250 with free shipping on all..  offer ends Sunday.

Daniel Smith is 20% off and free shipping on $125 or more, same deal as Blick's with the after discount @ $125.   Also has lesser deals for less but not with free shipping.

Those are just the bulk deals, all the stores have special prices on select items along with those discounts.

Mmmmmm, shopping.....

Daniel Smith's paper sampler is AWESOME!  Full size sheets (not 1/4 sheets like Cheap Joes).  Get on the emailing list and wait for a 20% off coupon with free shipping!  I got 16 sheets of 140 lb watercolor paper for about $55. It included a sheet of Yupo - now I have to find out what that is!

This is an on-going deal, so no time limit.

FYI:  There is a 20% discount for Daniel Smith online orders, of $50 or more, now thru Feb 16th.  Sale items are NOT included in this offer.  Check out Code is 'W20HARTS', use that code when checking out to get the discount.

I just ordered a few brushes and some watercolors, was easily over $50, so the discount applied.  More than covered my shipping costs.

For the rest of today, 4/23/2014, in the states Jerry's Artarama has a nice deal on a field box for pastels (Degas Port-A-Box), it's one of the 46 items for $46 as part of their 46th anniversary sale this week.  At $46 it's 76% off list price.  If you have been putting off buying any items I also got a Creative Mark Multi-point pencil sharpener that also works really well on the hard stick pastels like the Creatacolor Nupastels.  A number of artists over on the Wet Canvas forums give it 2 thumbs up...
