I recently bought a card of disposable paper palettes. They're very good and useful if you don't paint often and stay limited and organised with paint mess. But, they are expensive if you use 'em often. After watching Nolan using and commenting about the 'Tile' as a palette, I picked up a box (B&Q didn't sell individual ones) yesterday. I'm very pleased I did too. They are great. A good firm smooth base allows for colour mixing and scrapping. Allows for cleaning easier too. I can also still store them in my plastic box and put in the fridge.
Thanks for the great advice Nolan!

I also bought a tile and had some extras from past renovations. Haven't tried them out yet. I have seen some people use the very small ones 4x4
