Ray, I have a set and yes they are easy to erase.  However, I have a box of twelve and I haven't seen any other colors available.

Hey Ray - Prismacolour pencils do erase (for the most part).  The gum eraser (I have general's) do the best, but you have to work at it, it doesn't mess up your paper, but they don't erase just a small area.  Also, I found the factis OV24 (the rectangle pink eraser) kind of does a cool blending...but I'm still looking for more blending options with the prismacolour.

Hi Ray. . . so nice to see you in the larger avatar format. . . now we can see your handsome face!!!!

About the col-erase, they are a very nice CPs and they do indeed erase as advertised. Lovely to use. Prismacolor doesn't really erase all that well without doing some damage to the paper, but if you take a piece of clear packing tape or cello tape and lay it down over the part of the CP you want to remove, then rub the tape with a hard but dull instrument (I use an old butter knife) most of the CP will come up on the tape. Repeat as many times as it takes to get back to a place where you can work over the color. You will never get all the way to white, but you can get down to a very pale value.  Hope this helps. . . . :)

PS: Maryarsha is quite right. . . the old "art gum" erasers also work to remove CP.

Sorry Ray, the coloured pencils I have that erase are actualy erasable crayola and they blend well. The eraser attached to it takes all the colour off the paper.  .
