I think I'm ready to tackle a few mountains now!  I have a much better idea of how they are shaped.  Awesome class Dennis-thank you!

Here's my Snow on Mountain paint a long! A bit odd painting snow when it's 100 degrees here - actually cooled me off a bit.   Great class - and I may go back and tweak it a bit… I love your added blues in the mountains, Natalie!

Very nice snow scene, Jill.

Hmmm... seems to have a transportation theme. Here are the shapes I see in the snow: two airplanes, a tugboat, a locomotive, and a jeep.  Saw a one-humped camel but it disappeared.

Thank you Deborah, Sharon, Fiona, Natalie and Dennis.

Mea!  :2funny:  you had me looking at the mountain again.  You missed the horse shoe, the eagle in flight and the rat running down the mountain.  :D

Nice job, Annie.  really textured mountains - good for you.

Worried that the spit of land at the bottom left seems to be floating.  Not sure how best to anchor it, though.

Well done, Annie    Just darken the lower water up to the jutting point as this area is really in the shade. Soften the line between the two tones  O0

Thank you both for your reply.

I adjusted the water... but as Mea pointed out, the tip of the land seems to still hang above the water.  Is it the curve at the point that gives that impression?  Thanks

Annie, what if you made the jut of land wider at the bottom, coming right to the bottom of the paper?

I think the line of the shore is too solid. If you can soften it a bit along the water side so that it merges with the darker water colour you'll have it made. I hope that makes sense.

Sorry,  I gave you a fright Val.  I appreciated your comments very much, as well as yours Mea.   If it had been oil, I would have give them a try immediately, but WC are still tricky to correct for me.  I need to think it over for a while first.
