off to a good start.

What you want to work on now is getting a bigger contrast between your lightest and darkest colours.

A good way to practice this is by doing the tonal charts. It would be great if you could post them for me too O0

O-kami, so happy to see you are taking the pencil course.  It's a great foundation.

You are off to a good start with the berries.

The ball shows promise.

The penciled landscape is good, but try to be more random with the tree line.  If you think of it as an EKG or lie detector line, you'll get the idea.  (unless, of course, the person always tell the truth).

As for the tree, if you keep practicing, you will have incredibly -realistic trees very soon.

O-kami

Good for you.  Doing these charts really helps to get the tonal value concept understood.

the first two rows of your tonal chart look great. :yippee: :yippee: :yippee:

Practice the last row a few more times until you can get the transitions nice and smooth. This ability will allow you to draw almost anything going forward O0
